| 2007-03-15 - Our first fashion show was a great success! |

The fashion show was a great success! The Visitors Centre cafe was transformed for the evening into a catwalk (or should that be an alpacawalk?), with as big an audience as we could accomodate. Interest in the event was such that we could have filled the place three times over!
On the catwalk we showed off our extensive range of alpaca wool garments, with some of the staff acting as models for the night. A small dog accompanying one of the models stole the show - as you can see! The dog was modelling a coat also made of alpaca wool.
After the fashion parade, an alpaca and a llama made a brief appearance - much to everyone's delight. Refreshments were then served, provided by the nearby Norfolk Arms which is almost ready to reopen.
Attendees were then invited to view all the garments on offer for themselves in our shop, which they could purchase along with all the other merchandise we sell in the Visitors Centre, such as greetings cards, games, books, stationery - and even cuddly alpaca toys!
A raffle was held, plus an auction for a night's stay and an evening meal at the Norfolk Arms. Everyone involved gave their time free, and one of the main purposes of the event was to raise money for Elaine's favourite charity, Breast Cancer Research.
If you attended the fashion show, please leave some feedback giving us your thoughts on the event using our guestbook. Thank you.
